Reaching out and becoming involved is one of the best ways to build character and self-esteem, as well as meet other like-minded people. The Imagination Tree Foundation works with community leaders throughout the greater area to promote volunteerism.
Nothing brings people together like a well-planned party or event. The Imagination Tree Foundation hosts numerous fun-filled events and community gatherings throughout the year. From bike tours and 5K runs to spring concerts, events help raise awareness for issues affecting the community.
Diversity and inclusiveness are important ingredients for a healthy and vibrant society. Nature thrives when the environment is diverse, so does a community. The Imagination Tree Foundation is dedicated to broadening the understanding of the different backgrounds and people that make up our neighborhoods.
Building Communities, Promoting Citizenry
There are a lot of issues that our growing community faces: from proper housing to healthcare to education and
even transportation. The Imagination Tree Foundation works at the ground level, helping bring residents together to
smooth out issues and create bright spots. Our Foundation offers programs and creates events that are meant to
unify us andwork for the greater good.
Youth Advisory Group
The Imagination Tree Foundation Youth Advisory Group is a Community board whose members are appointed by the Imagination Tree Foundation board of directors. The Group was created in 2011 to address the issues and ideas that were being raised at a Youth Leadership Forum. The teens work together with the help of the foundation to create a diverse group of teens who would be willing to advise the Council on relevant teen issues within the community. The Group also
helps with the fundraising efforts.
